# Changing Your Password

**Two Situations, Two Routes:** Whether you can currently get into your account decides which one you want.

## If you are signed in

**Account > Change Password:** That is the whole flow. Set the new password and you are done. Nothing else about your account changes, and you stay signed in.

## If you are locked out

**Use Forgot Password on the Login Page:** There is a **Forgot password?** link on the login form. It emails you a reset link, and following that link signs you straight in rather than making you log in again with the password you just set.

If the link has expired by the time you get to it, the page gives you a way back to login so you can request a fresh one.

## Worth doing at the same time

**Your Podcast Feed Is a Separate Key:** If you are changing your password because you think someone else had access to your account, remember that the private podcast feed URL under **Account > Podcast Feed** works without a login and is not affected by a password change. Use **Regenerate URL** there as well.
