# Taking a Lesson and Tracking Your Progress

**Pick Up Where You Left Off:** You're running a restaurant. You are not going to finish a course in one sitting, and you shouldn't have to remember where you stopped. Open a course you've already started and it opens on the first lesson you haven't finished, cued to roughly where you stopped watching.

## The rail keeps score for you

**Always Know What's Left:** The panel on the right is your progress at a glance.

- **Your progress** counts finished lessons against the total, with a bar that fills as you go
- **Finished lessons carry a green check**, so you can see the work you've already put in
- **The lesson you're on is highlighted**, so there's no hunting
- **Lessons are grouped into sections**, so a long course reads as a few short ones

Every lesson shows its run time too. When you've got eleven minutes before the lunch rush, you can pick a lesson that actually fits.

## See where a course sits in the bigger picture

**One Course, or a Whole Path:** If a course belongs to a learning track, a badge at the top says so. This one sits inside the **Coffee Shop Starter Path**, so you can see it's a step in a sequence rather than a one-off, and jump to the rest of the path when you're ready.

## Captions, and a player that behaves

**Watch It Your Way:** Lessons play with captions available from the player's own CC control, and whichever way you set it sticks for every lesson afterward. Turn captions on once during a noisy shift and they stay on next time.

## Finish, then tell the room

**Close the Loop:** Below the player you'll find the full course description and the reviews other operators have left. When you've worked through it, add yours. It's the fastest way to tell the next owner whether it was worth their evening.

Finishing the course earns you the XP shown on the page and a certificate you can share.
