# Browsing the Recipe Library

**Specs, Not Inspiration:** The recipe library is built for people who have to cost a dish and hand it to a new hire, not for browsing. Every recipe carries the numbers you need to plan around it.

## Find the ones that fit your shop

**Filter Two Ways:** Narrow the library by **vertical** to see what suits your format, or by **tag** when you are after a category: breakfast, coffee, dessert, espresso, iced, milk-based, or pastry. A food truck owner and a bakery owner should not be reading the same list.

## What a recipe page tells you

**Plan the Job Before You Start It:** Each recipe leads with the practical details:

- **Total time**, covering prep, cook, and rest
- **Servings and yield**, so you can scale it to a batch
- **Difficulty**, so you know whether a new hire can run it on a Tuesday

Then the full ingredient list with quantities, and the method step by step.

## Follow an ingredient across your whole menu

**The Part Worth Knowing About:** Every ingredient in the list is a link. Click one and you get every recipe in the library that uses it.

That is the feature to remember when a supplier price jumps. Instead of guessing which dishes just got more expensive, you open the ingredient and see the list. It turns a vague worry about dairy costs into a specific set of items to recost.

**Save It for Later:** Anything you want to come back to can be bookmarked, and it lands in your saved items with everything else.
