# Following a Learning Track

**Stop Guessing What to Learn First:** A library of courses is only useful if you know which one to open. **Tracks** are handpicked sequences that take a subject in the order it actually builds, so you are not learning menu costing before you understand contribution margin.

Each track tells you up front how many courses it holds and how long the whole path takes. The Coffee Shop Starter Path, for instance, is five courses and just under two hours. That is one slow afternoon, not a semester.

## Inside a path

**One Clear Next Step:** Open a track and you get its courses laid out in order, numbered, with your status on each one. Finished courses carry a green check. The one you are up to is marked **Up Next** and outlined, so there is never a question about where to go back to.

**Your Progress, Across the Whole Path:** The bar at the top tracks you across every course in the track, not just the one you are in. It is a useful number to look at on a Sunday when it feels like you are not getting anywhere.

**Pick Up in One Click:** **Continue Learning** drops you straight into the next unfinished course. You never have to remember which one that was.

## Tracks and courses point at each other

**Context Both Ways:** A course that belongs to a track shows a **Part of** badge at the top of its page, linking back to the path. So whether you find the path first or stumble into one of its courses, you can see the bigger sequence you are in.
