Fix One Thing, With a Room Full of Operators: Workshops are free, month-long programs where everyone works on the same problem at the same time: costing a menu, pulling down COGS, tightening the line. About 30 minutes each weekday, no weekend homework. Find them under Workshops.

Today's Work, Already Decided: Open your Workshop page and the day is laid out for you: watch this lesson, cost that item, share what surprised you, with a time estimate on each one. Miss a day and it moves to a catch-up list instead of quietly disappearing. Tomorrow stays locked until tomorrow!

The Course Comes With It: Every Workshop includes the course it is built on, free while the Workshop runs, and the page tells you exactly when that access ends. Academy Plus members keep the course for good, plus the live AMA and hot-seat sessions and every replay.

Prompts That Land When You Can Read Them: Pick your time when you enroll, 7 AM before the rush or 7 PM after close, in your own timezone. Already finished the course? You will not get a reminder to start it. Everything we email you also lives on your Workshop page, so a missed email never costs you the day.

Your Results Stay Yours: Finish and your completion, badge, and check-in answers stay on your Workshop history for good, right alongside the discussions you started. Those live on the regular community boards, so the operators you met are still there in March.

Put a Poll on Any Discussion: Starting a thread now has an Add a poll option. Write your question the way you always would, add up to six answers, and let the room vote instead of counting replies by hand. "Which POS?" and "how many locations before you hired a GM?" finally get a straight answer.

One Answer or Several: Flip Allow people to choose more than one answer when the question is not either/or — like which boards someone actually reads. On those polls the percentages can add up past 100%, because they show the share of people, not the share of clicks.

Give It a Deadline, or Don't: Set an end time and the poll closes itself, showing the final tally to anyone who arrives late. Leave it blank and it stays open as long as the thread does.

Change Your Mind: Tap a different answer to move your vote, or tap your own answer again to take it back. Results are visible from the start — no voting blind just to see where everyone else landed.

See Who Voted: On the thread page, click the vote count under any answer to see exactly which operators picked it. Worth knowing who to ask a follow-up question.

Pictures Work Too: Add an image to any answer when you are comparing layouts, plating, or signage — anything easier to show than describe.

On Your Phone as Well: Polls render and vote on mobile, and the Community tab now has a proper composer, so you can start a discussion — poll and all — without opening a laptop.

Pick Up Where You Left Off: Open a course you have started and you land on the next lesson you have not finished yet. No more scrolling the lesson list trying to remember where you got to after a long shift.

Your Place, Not Just Your Progress: The player also remembers how far into a lesson you actually watched, so a lesson you left half-finished starts back at that point instead of the beginning. Lessons you have already completed start from the top, so rewatching one is still easy.

Built For Learning In Gaps: Twenty minutes between the lunch rush and prep is enough to move a course forward when you are not spending five of them finding your spot.

Upvote Without Opening the Thread: The arrows on every thread card are now real buttons. Scroll a board, see good advice, and push it up the list without clicking through. The count updates the moment you tap it.

Good Answers Rise: An upvote also sends XP to the operator who wrote the thread, so the people worth reading get credit for it. You cannot vote up your own posts, which keeps the standings honest.

The Important Stuff Stays Put: Pinned threads now carry a Pinned chip and sit at the top of the board whether you are sorting by Recent or by Top. House rules and the threads worth reading twice stop sliding off the bottom.

Blocked Means Blocked: If you have blocked someone, their threads no longer show up on Community or on any board page. Your feed is yours.

Head to Community, pick a board, and push something good to the top.

Get Back To It In One Click: Your saved items now show the real title of whatever you bookmarked and take you straight there, whether that is a course, a recipe, a discussion, or a tool from the toolkit.

Save It Now, Read It After Close: Spot something useful mid-shift, bookmark it, and it will be waiting for you by name when you have ten quiet minutes.

Goals That Show Up: Finishing a goal now lands in your activity alongside your courses and community posts, so the progress you are making on your shop sits in the same place as everything else.

Find your saved items under Bookmarks in the top bar, and your goals from your dashboard.

See Where You Stand: The leaderboard now shows the whole community: who is putting in the work, how much XP they have earned, and exactly where you land against them.

Your Rank, Even Outside The Top: If you are not in the top spots yet, your own standing still shows, so you can watch it climb week to week.

XP For The Work You Are Already Doing: You earn it by finishing lessons, starting discussions, answering another operator's question, and completing the goals you set for your shop.

Watch and Navigate at Once: The learning view is now a proper two-column layout on a wide screen: the lesson playing on the left, the full course list on the right. No more scrolling back and forth to find the next lesson. On a phone or tablet it stacks, so it still reads fine on the line.

Always Know What Is Left: The lesson list carries a Your progress bar showing how many lessons you have finished out of the total, and it turns green when you have finished the lot. Section headings stay pinned as you scroll a long course.

No Guessing What You Can Open: Lessons you have not unlocked yet are clearly dimmed rather than looking broken, and if enrolling ever fails the page now tells you why instead of quietly resetting the button.

Never Miss an Upgrade: There is a new What's New button in the top bar on web and on the Home screen in the mobile app. Tap it and you get a running list of everything we have shipped, newest first.

A Badge When There Is Something to Read: The button carries an unread mark until you have caught up, so you find out about a new feature the next time you log in rather than six months later.

Works Offline Too: The feed is bundled into the app as well as fetched live, so it still opens when the shop wifi is having a bad day.

Aspiring, Building, or Running It: The Restaurant Profile card on Account now has an Operator Stage setting. Pick whether you are an aspiring owner, planning and building, just opened, or an established operator.

Context for the Community: Your stage shows up where it helps other members read your advice, because "I just opened" and "I have run this for twelve years" are different kinds of answer, and both are worth having.

Change It Whenever: Just opened your first shop? Update it. The field clears just as easily if you would rather not say.

Video That Adapts to Your Connection: Lessons now stream adaptively, so the picture adjusts to the bandwidth you actually have instead of stalling. If you leave a lesson open for a long time it quietly reconnects rather than dying mid-sentence.

Set Captions Once: Captions now run off the player's own CC button, and your choice sticks for every lesson afterward and every time you come back. Turn them on during a loud shift and they stay on.

Attachments That Open: Worksheets and other lesson resources now open properly in a new tab instead of failing silently, and we repaired the links that were pointing nowhere.

Cleaner Audio Lessons: Audio-only lessons got a tidier player, and the Enroll button now stays in its loading state until the page is actually ready.

Two Ways In: Want one specific course? Buy it outright and it is yours to keep. Want the lot? Academy Plus includes every paid course for as long as you are a member. When you click Buy This Course, we show you both options side by side so you can do the maths yourself, with a clear path to just buying the one course if that is what you want.

A Checkout That Finishes: Buying a course now takes you through a proper checkout and lands you on a confirmation page that names what you bought and walks you straight into the course.

You Keep What You Pay For: A course you purchase stays with your account permanently, whether or not you are an Academy Plus member later on.

Land Where You Meant To: If you have to log in or register partway through, you now come back to the course you were looking at instead of starting over.

Watch Before You Commit: Selected lessons are now marked Free preview and play right on the course page. No enrolling, no account needed. See whether the teaching style works for you before you spend an evening on it.

Your Progress Still Counts: If you are signed in, a preview lesson you watch is saved against your progress, so nothing is wasted when you do enroll. Not signed in? You can still watch, and we will point you at logging in to keep track.

Enroll to Get the Rest: XP and your certificate still come with enrolling, which is free on every members-only course.

Real Numbers, Not Round Ones: The XP badge on a course page now shows what that specific course actually awards, worked out from its completion bonus plus the XP on every lesson in it. A longer course is worth more, and the page says so.

Nothing Misleading: If a course has no XP attached, the badge simply does not appear rather than showing a number that is not real.

Worth Knowing Before You Pick: If you are climbing the Leaderboard, you can now see which course moves you furthest for the time it takes.

Context, Not Just a Course: Course pages now show a Part of badge when the course belongs to a learning track, so you can tell at a glance whether you are looking at a one-off or step three of a sequence.

Follow the Whole Path: Click the badge and you land on the track, where the courses are laid out in the order that actually builds on itself. Handy when you are new to a side of the business and do not know what to learn first.

One Name, Everywhere: The paid membership is now Boost Academy Plus across the whole product. You will see the new name on the pricing page, in your account, on course and lesson pages, on members-only boards and events, and throughout the mobile app.

Nothing Changed but the Name: Same membership, same benefits, same price. If you are already a member you do not need to do anything.

Clearer Invitations: Where the app used to say "Become a Member" it now says Upgrade to Academy Plus, so it is obvious what you are getting.

Practical Things, Not More Reading: There is a new Resources section: checklists, one-pagers and templates you can put in front of a team rather than another article to get through.

Claim It and It Is Yours: Open a resource and hit Add to My Resources to unlock the download. Anything you have claimed shows up on your Account page, so you can find it again the week you actually need it.

Some Come With a Walkthrough: Where a resource has an intro video attached, it plays once you have claimed it, so you know how to use the thing before you hand it to a shift lead.
