Two Minutes That Shape Everything After: When you first join, Boost Academy asks a few short questions. They are not admin for the sake of it: the answers decide which courses, recipes, and examples you get shown, so a food truck owner is not reading bakery case studies.
Where you are right now
Pick the Stage That Fits:
- Aspiring Owner, still dreaming about opening
- Planning / Building, working on the concept or the build-out
- Just Opened, under a year in
- Established, running for a year or more
This one does the most work. The advice a pre-opening owner needs and the advice an established operator needs barely overlap, and it also gives context to other members when you post in the community.
What you run
Verticals and Concept: Next you pick the formats you operate in and your restaurant concept. That is what filters the recipe library and the course recommendations down to things you can actually use.
Nothing here is locked in
Skip What You Are Not Sure About: Every step has a Skip for now, and Back if you want to change an answer. If you are still working it out, skip it. You can set or change all of it later from your Account page, and plenty of people update their stage the week they finally open.
