Climbing the Leaderboard

Proof You Are Putting the Work In: XP is how Boost Academy keeps score of the learning you are actually doing. The Leaderboard shows where you sit against every other operator on the platform, and highlights your own row so you never have to hunt for it. Boost Academy staff are not ranked, so every place on the board belongs to an operator.

How you earn XP

Learning Counts, and So Does Helping: XP comes from the work, not from logging in.

  • Finishing lessons and completing courses. Longer courses are worth more, and each course page shows exactly what it awards before you start.
  • Completing the goals you set on your Account page.
  • Getting upvoted in the community. When another operator marks your answer useful, that credit comes back to you.

That last one matters. The leaderboard is not just a measure of how much you have watched, it is a measure of how much you have helped.

All time, this month, this week

A Fresh Start Every Week: Use the filters at the top to switch between All Time, This Month, and This Week. All-time rewards the people who have been here longest, but the weekly board resets, so a good week puts a new member near the top quickly.
